This is an easy side dish and a nice way to add flavor to skirt steak or any other meat.
Slice white mushrooms into quarters or smaller slices. Slice a large white onion into rings. Heat a skillet on medium high heat. Add 2 tbsp. olive oil to coat the skillet. Add the mushrooms and onions. Sprinkle in some salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley.
Cook, turning often, about 10-15 minutes, until mushrooms are very soft and onions are translucent.
