Shortcut Mashed Potatoes

Spice up some pre-cooked mashed potatoes!


Heat up the mashed potatoes according to the package directions. Mine recommended 4 minutes in the microwave.

Stir in 1/4 cup milk, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. garlic powder, and 1/8 tsp. dried parsley.

Transfer to a Pyrex or other ovenproof container.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese over the mashed potatoes.

Bake at 350F for half an hour or until top of the dish begins to brown.
