Black Beans with Onion and Garlic

Here’s an easy way to add some more flavor to black beans:

Chop 1/3 of an onion into little pieces. Heat a skillet to medium-high and saute them in olive oil, salt, and pepper for about 5 minutes, or until soft and transparent.

Chop up 1 garlic clove and add it to the skillet. Cook for 30 seconds. Add 1 can beans (we like El Ebro Black Beans) and continue cooking until beans are heated through.
