This is an excellent side dish to serve with lamb and peas. I like making my own mashed potatoes because I can control the amount of butter and salt I add. I found the recipe on Allrecipes.
- 3 russet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 2-in thick slices
- ¼ cup warm milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- dash of salt
Boil the potatoes for 20-25 minutes. Smash them. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
