Crepes! I aspire to one day make them as good as Crepemaker, but I’ll start with a first batch. Note: Use a big skillet!
This is an Alton Brown recipe from the Food Network. I added vanilla extract and sugar to it.
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 tsp. sugar
Heat a skillet to medium. Working in batches, pour about 1/4 cup into the skillet, making sure every inch is covered in a thin layer. Cook about 1 minute until the crepe starts to rise.
Flip crepe over quickly, making sure the edges do not fold over and get stuck to each other. Cook crepe 30 more seconds or until it is slightly browning.
Fill with whatever you like! I used 1 tbsp. Nutella, strawberries, bananas, and marshmallows.
Melt 1/4 cup chocolate morsels with about 1/4 cup milk (or however much milk you want) until sauce flows and can be poured. Drizzle the crepes with sauce and sprinkle with powdered sugar and chopped pecans.
