Honey Sugar Glazed Pork

I found this great pork recipe online! I am always looking for ways to change up the taste of pork. I modified it slightly by adding ginger and pan-frying it instead of baking it in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops, about 1/2 inch thick
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Ginger

Directions:

Mix together the honey, brown sugar, and ginger in a microwaveable bowl. Heat in the microwave for 20 seconds so that it softens.

Season the pork with salt and pepper. Drizzle the honey-sugar-ginger mixture over both sides of the pork. Heat a skillet to medium-high heat, and cook the pork for about 5-6 minutes per side.

This is the consistency of the honey-sugar-ginger mixture after it has been heated in the microwave for 20 seconds
