Milk-free Mashed Potatoes

If you want to stay away from milk, you can make these mashed potatoes with chicken broth and they will taste just as good.


  • 7-8 red potatoes, scrubbed
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 T butter
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth


  1. Place the potatoes in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Allow the potatoes to boil for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are soft when pierced with a fork.
  3. Drain the potatoes and mash them. Add salt, pepper, butter, and chicken broth.
