Banana Coconut Oatmeal

Cook up a batch of steel cut oats (I used Quaker Oats) by combining 4 cups boiling water with 1 cup steel-cut oats. Simmer for 25-30 minutes.

Spoon a chunk of the oatmeal into a bowl and stir in about 2 tbsp brown sugar. Top with 2 tbsp slivered almonds, 2 tbsp raisins, 1/2 banana sliced into thin rounds, and 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes. Great way to add energy to your morning!
