This recipe has been tailored from Mark Bittman’s How to Cook Everything Cookbook. I split it in half and added a few of my own ingredients.
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and dried
- 4 tbsp tahini (1/4 cup)
- Juice of one small lemon
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Smoked paprika
Combine all ingredients except spices in a food processor and grind until smooth. Hummus will be chunky. At the end, sprinkle in a dash each of salt, pepper, and paprika.
